A little more Easter

So I decided to up the ante a bit with the Easter Egg cupcakes (aka I ran out of mini cupcake liners and the bakery supply shop was closed). So I found a few awesome blogs that mentioned baking in actual egg shells. Never understood how this would work, and as soon as I started I’d decided it wouldn’t end well, but surprisingly it did and they all came out really cute.


All it requires is a lot of patience ’cause you need to empty out the eggs, clean them out, soak them in salt water and then dry them. Takes a lot of time but the end result is rather cool. And the cupcakes slide out of the shells easily as well! Just be sure you don’t catch any shell pieces on the exit.
